Entei- Sacred Ash Shrine

Description

Heavily inspired by Dark Souls 1, Lord Gwyn of Cinder fight + music
The king, or in this case, Entei, gave his soul and time to keep the age of fire alive.Possibly this shrine was dedicated to Ho-oh, since the Sacred Ash item in Pokemon is related to him...I think?

Now the shrine lays in ruin, covered in thick ash from long ago. Yet Entei remained, ash in his fur, waiting for...something.

I used quite a lot of textures for this piece, haha. Ash for the ground, rock for the walls and stuff. This idea just came to mind.
I've been listening to a lot of Dark Souls music and imagining ways to incorporate a Legendary Pokemon to it, and think of some sort of boss fight.

I was kinda torn on adding Lar in this really, but I felt it needed something a little more. Not sure how it would've looked with just Entei in the distance.

So to remind you, its not snow, its ash, haha

Also, some critic would be nice, however harsh or kind. Think its about time I started asking for tips n stuff

Music that inspired me: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB6sOh…

I'm honestly getting choked up looking at this. That last fight in Dark Souls feels very much like Gwyn is fighting back, trying to hold on to the Age of Fire that he created. It's like a flame that flickers as the candle's wick diminishes. Looking at a picture like this, despite having the characters altered, still gives me that feeling of finality that occurred at the end of the first game. If I were to help with a critique, I would say to perhaps make the ashen area a bit more monochromatic.
